The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency recently awarded Clarus Technologies its 2009 Minority Green Firm of the Year award for the company’s specialized technique of reprocessing fluids in a way that is beneficial to the environment
“After providing green services for 15 years, it is nice to be recognized formally” Clarus CEO Karl Thomas said. Clarus Technologies is an 8(a) subsidiary of Koniag Development Corp. The company is headquartered in Bellingham, Wash.
The engineering and manufacturing company is focused on improving existing fluid reprocessing technologies and creating innovative solutions to new challenges within the industry. Its reprocessing services include restoring a customer’s oil products to “better than new” condition at a cost that is lower than purchasing new products.
